December 24, 2007 Message from Ambassador Samad: As Ambassador in Canada for Afghanistan I am pleased and happy to support the Teddy Bears of Hope Campaign for Afghan Children from Canadian Children. To show love and hope from child to child in each of these countries, is a great show of compassion in our youth of today. This is a sign of compassion and friendship for the children of Afghanistan and we thank everyone who is involved in this endeavor, including Miss Teen Canada Cassondra Paletta. I am very honoured that Ms. Stark choose our country as the next Tedddy Bears of Hope Project. The Embassy and I look forward to continuing to work with The Teddy Bears of Hope Organization and Ms. Stark to seek the best way at the most opportune time to arrange wiht other interested parties who could help wiht shipment and distribution activites in 2008.
